Questions

Where do your crabs come from?

It depends on the season. We source from the Chesapeake Bay, Louisiana, Alabama, the Carolinas, New Jersey and Delaware, and we grade every crab by hand for size and weight before it ships.

Live or steamed: which should I order?

Order live if you want to steam them yourself the day they arrive. Order steamed if you want them cooked in J.O. Spice and ready to reheat. Live crabs ship by air only. Steamed crabs can also go by Fast & Fresh Economy.

What if Supers aren't available?

Supers depend on the catch. If they're short, we may send extra XLs (6.5 to 7 in) in their place, and you'll be notified.

When will it arrive?

On the day you choose. Pick your delivery date from the calendar at checkout. Live crabs and fresh seafood ship by air, and Priority Overnight is one of the options. We ship Monday to Friday, and Saturday delivery is available in most areas.

What's your guarantee?

Our Chesapeake Crab Satisfaction Guarantee: if it's not perfect, we'll make it right. If an order arrives spoiled or damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Details are in our refund policy.
